Topic 1- Two tips for shooting sports that stood out to me in Karl's presentation: 1) Get pictures from different angels. Its important to get a different perspective than other photographers. You have to think outside the box. Also, getting a low angle with sports pictures makes it easier to get pictures of the people's faces, which is the next thing I took away from his talk: 2) Get the subject's eyes in the picture. The photo is boring if the subject is looking away and you can't see their face or eyes. It is important for there to be emotion in the picture. Topic 2- Action/ sports photos 1) My sports subject is the Woman's basketball team at practice. 2) They had practice in the Activity Center on November 16th at 4. 3) overall- all of the players gathered around on the court medium- 3 players tossing the ball to each other close up- one or 2 players shooting the ball into the hoop
